What Is Dividend?

:-A dividend is additional amount which is given by company to own shareholders.

* There are two types of dividend in stock market:-

(1) Interim dividend

(2) Final dividend

(1) Interim dividend:-

The dividend which is paid by company during financial year to own shareholders that is called interim dividend. //note:- interim dividend can be taked back by company from own shareholders.

(1) Final dividend:-

The dividend which is paid by company at the end of financial year to own shareholders that is called final dividend. //note:- final dividend can not be taked back by company from own shareholders.
